Frozen Yogurt Niblets.

Since I got all of this yogurt from Chobani, I have been finding different ways to snack on it. Since I ran around a lot this week, I would usually just grab a yogurt and run out the door. I had the 0% Raspberry on its own, and it was delicious. I tried the 0% Apple Cinnamon with some Nature's Path Organic Flax Plus Multibran sprinkled on top - that was super delicious. I am a fan of making popsicles, but sometime, its too much to eat at once.

Then, thanks to the balanced life, I found an alternative - frozen yogurt niblets! I decided to try it with Chobani 0% Vanilla. The process is ridiculously simple. Here is what you need:

1. Yogurt
2. Spoon
3. Wax paper/parchment paper
4. Cookie sheet, or...
If you run out of wax paper, and your cookie sheet won't fit in your freezer (this happened when I attempted my second batch this morning), use a large lid to a plastic/glass container - I used one of my Pyrex lids.
5. A small container to store the niblets in. I used two snack sized plastic bags.

Here is what you do: Grab out a yogurt and give it a good stir with a spoon.

Using the spoon, drop about half a spoonful onto your cookie sheet, lined with wax paper.

Place in the freezer for two hours.

Quickly remove from wax paper and place into a container of your choice.

They aren't perfectly shaped, which is fine by me. I ate one bag a few hours before my run yesterday, and I was hooked. After my run, I ate the second bag. It was a nice treat, and it helped cool my body off.

This morning, I decided to make another batch with Chobani 0% Lemon, which is one of my favorite flavors. I'm actually eating them as I type this!

As I mentioned yesterday, I just started Weight Watchers, so this will be an awesome snack. Its frozen yogurt finger food! I also noticed that snacking with these little niblets made my yogurt last at least twice as long, and I didn't even eat them all in one sitting - whereas I always finish my yogurt container within fifteen minutes.

What are some of your favorite healthy frozen treats?
