Bloggers for Health.

I meant to post this last week, but I have decided to take part in Bloggers for Health, which is something that Callie, from Coffee and Cardigans, brought to my attention. I was really stoked about this, because I am currently training for a 5K, and any additional support/tips are welcomed.

When trying to better yourself, positive feedback and encouragement are just as important as eating healthy and exercising. When I did my juice fast last year with my friend, Cristina, we were constantly texting each other - if I didn't have her to support me, I wouldn't have lasted a month.

If you are interested in joining Bloggers for Health, you can check it out and sign up here. There is also a Facebook group, which can be found here. Make sure to introduce yourself and tell everyone what healthier lifestyle changes you are trying to achieve. The girls are great!

What are my goals? I want to be able to run a 5K with a decent time, get into a better exercise routine and eat healthier. So far, I am doing pretty well. What are your goals?

    1. Thats awesome, Katrina! I feel the same way, also. Sometimes, we are so busy, that we neglect taking care of ourselves - I refuse to do that any longer!

Keep me posted on how badminton is going! :)

    1. Thanks - glad to see you're doing BFH, too! I just started following you, so I'll get to see your progress. Good luck! :)

  3. I'm really proud of you, Michele! I'm trying to eat more "home food" (food prepared at home, as opposed to the hospital...ahem). It's a huge challenge, but I know there are fewer calories and that it's more nutritious.

    1. Thanks! You and +The Lawyer should take one afternoon to cook meals for the week, breakfast included (steel cut oats are great for you!) - its pretty fun! If you prepare a bunch in advance, its much easier.
