I'm officially sold on Acure organics since I've had alot of their products collecting dust in one of my iherb wish lists screaming "Just give us a go already!" I have really dry skin so I hope their products for dry skin really work for me like yours did for you. Plus their prices are great! Thanks for the review.

http://www.truebeautybynature.comWorry and Chillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05237858866460702253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8108522814650511604.post-24084849247735805182012-05-01T13:49:48.379-04:002012-05-01T13:49:48.379-04:00Hi, Laurette!

I feel the same way you do - I try and keep my eating/beauty regimen as clean as possible (although I'm not perfect + chocolate ice cream is my weakness, haha).

Regarding toners: I have skin that can get super oily in spots. The toner I got actually feels more like a refreshing water mist. I only use a bit, but it makes my skin feel super soft + hydrated. Since I started the regimen, the oily spots are virtually gone. For the price that the bottle is + how long it has lasted, I am sticking with it.

Here are a few suggestions for products you're still looking for:

Try Acure's argan oil for night cream - that is what I use, and I'm telling you, its the best thing ever. Its the most versatile product I've found. For a face scrub, try what I use. I used to use St. Ives + Burt's Bees, both of which left my face feeling like there was a film on it. For body scrub, I sometimes use my face scrub, because its easy to use it all in the shower. When I go out + purchase an actual body scrub, I use Skinny Skinny, which you can get at Spirit Beauty Lounge (http://www.spiritbeautylounge.com/skinny-skinny-organic-black-coffee-body-scrub.html). It feels like there is something left on your skin, but its oils, so thats a good thing. For soap, I really like Dr. Bronner's. I get the big bottle + it lasts forever. They have a variety of scents, but I just go for the original. Its not fancy, but it works + doesn't dry my skin out. For lotion, I use Acure's cocoa butter + coq10 lotion. On days when I want really hydrate my skin, especially after shaving, I'll use the argan oil on my body, let it absorb, then put the lotion on. I usually wait 15 minutes after that, then get ready. In the summer, I use extra virgin coconut oil on my arms + legs as a moisturizer - that works wonders, too.

Have you read the book, No More Dirty Looks? I think you'd like it!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06271651714811767008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8108522814650511604.post-83793501271641260392012-05-01T03:23:16.610-04:002012-05-01T03:23:16.610-04:00Hi! I stumbled upon your blog on Instagram while s...Hi! I stumbled upon your blog on Instagram while searching tags for organic skincare lines I want to try. I've got two products from Juice Beauty that I absolutely love, but since organic is expensive, I've been on the hunt for something tried and true that will be good on my skin and that I don't have to waste money on trying out to find out I don't like it. I mean, you can't put a price on beauty but it sure does hurt my wallet. Anyways I've been dying to try Pangea, One Love, Acure and more Juice Beauty! I'm super glad I found your blog because it helped me decide what I'll be purchasing next. I currently own Juice Beauty's SPF 15 moisturizer from their Green Apple line as well as the Green Apple cleansing gel. I love these products so much! Mostly because they're organic and I refuse to put toxic chemicals on my skin. Anyways, I still need a night cream, scrub, bar soap/body wash and body lotion. I recently splurged and bought one of the Pangea bar soaps and Acure shampoo/conditioner (blue bottle) and I can't wait til they come in the mail! I'm honestly a firm believer that if you won't put something IN your body, why on earth would you want to put it ON your body?
I do have a question though. What is your take on toners in general? I'm not really sure of the necessity nor the importance because I've always heard that a good moisturizer negates the use of a toner. But I'd like to hear what you think of them! If they're necessary, useful and worthwhile.Laurettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06522902802347868176noreply@blogger.com
